Haval Stand attracts thousands on opening day of Auto Shanghai

China’s top selling SUV brand – Haval – stole the show at Auto Shanghai 2015 with the launch of new models and revealing a glimpse of the future with the unveiling of two exciting new concept cars.

 

 

General Manager of Ries China also revealed Haval’s new Red/Blue strategy to the 1000 . Future Haval products will be designated either “red” – which indicates classical luxury targeting families – or “blue” – which will target younger consumers.

Haval unveiled two exciting concept models to reinforce the red/blue strategy – Haval Concept R and Haval Concept B.

Haval design director Pierre Leclercq took the stage to discuss the inspiration behind them. Haval Concept R is a future-oriented sport SUV, featuring stylish design, a bold honeycomb grille and low-slung roofline.

 

 

Haval Concept B is a trendy city SUV for young consumers. The long bonnet and short front and rear overhangs provided a pointer to future design trends for China’s number one SUV brand.

China’s first coupe SUV – the Haval H6 Coupe – and the ultra-luxurious Haval H8 were officially launched to the public.

Haval H6 Coupe combines the features of a sports car and a roadster to create a new definition for an urban SUV. Powered by a 2.0-litre TGDI engine combined with a six-speed dual clutch transmission, it reaches 100 km/h from rest in just nine seconds while returning excellent fuel economy of 8.8 l/100 km.

The top specification Haval H8 will offer a raft of creature comforts including heated and ventilated seats with massage function, electronic tailgate, 8-inch TFT touchscreen with satellite navigation and DVD screens for rear-seat passengers.
